Hollywood’s biggest director and two of its biggest stars joined forces with Bollywood in June. Now it is time for Hollywood’s biggest rapper to stick his proverbial thumb in the pie.
A few weeks after the likes of Steven Spielberg, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger spearheaded various silver screen projects in India’s tinsel town, popular rapper and hip-hop artist Snoop Doggy Dogg decided to make a music video with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.
The Bollywood/Hollywood duo will match up to produce a promotional music video for Kumar’s upcoming film, Singh is Kinng.
According to The New York Post, Snoop Dogg and Kumar will meet in Chicago in August to commence production.
Kumar has more than 80 Bollywood film credits to his name, including the Khiladi movie series, where he plays the Indian version of British superspy James Bond.
Snoop Dogg, also known as Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr., is a Grammy Award-nominated rapper, record producer, and actor who released nine albums and was a part of 22 movies.
