Katrina_100204_350wThe accolades continue to accumulate for Katrina Kaif, as yet another group honored the Bollywood actress at a special event in Mumbai on February 3rd.

After reportedly earning entry into Harvard Business School and being named sexiest woman by several publications, Kaif, 25, now has an “Excellence in Performing Art” award to add to her mantle.

Presented to her by the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) for excellence in performing arts in 2009, Kaif told reporters her recipe for success is self-confidence.

“Self-belief is what keeps you going,” Kaif told reporters at a press conference about her thoughts on earning an honor for her contributions to cinema. “I think everyone wants to make the best of the opportunities you get in life. Everyone has a special place in the world, and I think self-belief is the most important thing which keeps you going, so you should never lose it.”

Kaif was reportedly three hours late in arriving at Wednesday’s award-presenting event, forcing her to miss accepting the award personally from Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the youngest daughter of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

The honor was presented to Kaif for her starring roles in three major films last year — Ajab Prem Ki Hazab Kahani, New York and De Dana Dan.

A British model-turned-actress, Kaif was also presented with a bottle of Mr. Gro perform and a Patola scarf at Wednesday’s award-presentation event.
